Print, Social Media, & Email marketing Campaign, Photography, Copywriting
The Gift of Learning fundraiser and Giving Tuesday campaign for St. John's Parish Day School (SJPDS), an independent elementary school. I worked with SJPDS to plan, brand, and launch their 2019-20 school year fundraiser. I had multiple roles on this project as the graphic designer, marketing lead, photographer, social media coordinator and copywriter. For the visual identity, I used the image of a red bow as the primary element to symbolize giving a gift (of learning) during the holiday season. I captured images of students and faculty engaging in joyful learning to compliment the message and for use in print and digital designs. The Giving Tuesday launch for the fundraiser resulted in having 70% of the total raised given by first-time donors.
PRINT DESIGN SENT TO SCHOOL FAMILIES & PAST DONORS
I chose the image of a red bow to symbolize giving a gift (of learning) during the holiday season. The negative space between the images create a cross like in the school's logo.
GIVING TUESDAY SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS
I designed and crafted captions for a series of posts to build momentum and stay top of mind leading up to Giving Tuesday. The posts highlighted various moments of joyful learning and how donations will support the school.
Thank you Video
I directed, recorded, and edited clips of students, teachers, administrators, and board of trustees sharing their thank you messages for donors. This video was sent to the community after Giving Tuesday.
